Life Stream is a non-denominational, Word based ministry for saving souls, teaching, prayer, intercession, healing and deliverance.
The man of God in Life Stream, who prefers to be called Brother Debo, has God’s special grace and gift for healing, deliverance and breakthrough including breaking the yokes of bareness and delivery complications. The common experience is for the sick that he prays for to fall into deep sleep, and when they wake up, healing has taken place. Pregnant women that had delivery complications delivered within 10 to 15 minutes after praying for them. In all the cases, the women delivered without any labor pain due to God’s intervention. Women seeking the fruit of the womb, including those that medically could not conceive had been confirmed pregnant within 2 months. Also, testimonies of astounding breakthroughs within a week after prayers abound, as a result of Gods immediate intervention. His slogan is that “God no longer delays, and therefore expect no delay”. Isaiah 65:24 “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer, and while they are yet speaking, I will hear”. As you visit and fellowship with us, expect an all-round turnaround!
The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. — Psalms 34:15 KJV
FROM THE MAN OF GOD
PUT YOUR FAITH TO WORK NOW!
Basically, Faith is the complete trust and confidence in God and the power in his infallible Word. Faith is the main component of our Christian faith, and therefore needs to be well understood. What has stood between many Christians and Gods promises is the lack of understanding of Faith. Everything that our eyes can see came into existence through God’s Spoken Word. “Through faith, we understood that the world was framed by the Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” – Hebrews 11:2. ”And God said, ‘Let there be light’, and there was light” – Genesis 1:3. God spoke first, and results followed. This is corroborated in Romans 4:17 which tell us that”…even God, who quickens the dead and calls those things that are not as though they were”.
God works by faith and therefore all his children must live by faith. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” –Hebrews 11:1. A substance is what you can see, hold and feel; therefore, faith is tangible. It is real and is sure. With faith, you can see the reality of your expectation. If anyone asks you your reason for being sure of what is not yet physical, The Bible says that Faith “… is the evidence of things not seen”. Evidences are facts, proofs and witnesses. In 1st Samuel 1:2-20, Hannah was barren, and therefore her heart was grieved, she denied herself food regularly and constantly wept; however, as soon as she received the word from prophet Eli that “the God of Israel grant her petition” – verse 17, the bible recorded that that her countenance was no more sad and she started eating and praising God immediately. As at then she was not yet pregnant however, because of her faith she conceived and gave birth within a year! Hence, with faith, you should be convinced beyond reasonable doubts that you have your expectation before it materializes; and this must reflect in your actions, state of mind, countenance and confessions. It could therefore be reasonably concluded that
‘Faith is the state or condition of rest and strong conviction in your heart, that God has heard you and already granted your request while you prayed; it is not moved by what you see, feel, know or hear, but rather by the Word of God’.
We need to understand that when we pray or make a demand on God’s Word in the name of Jesus, it is God, through the Holy Spirit that performs the action. God will not act if He does not see faith in us, because that is the only way He works. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him” –Hebrews 11:6. The space and time between when the request is made and the answer is manifest is entirely God’s business. Your own part is to have the faith and God will do His own part.
”Now faith is . .”. Faith is Now, faith does not work when placed in futuristic perspective. This makes faith to be in the present tense. Now faith is… It differs from hope which is related to future expectations. Mark 11:24 …what things so ever you desire, when ye pray believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them. As you are praying, you must have the faith that God is hearing you already and after the prayer, you must believe that God has heard and granted your request; and what should follow is joy and giving God thanks, just like Hannah did, then God will respond. You need to put your faith on line now!
